Youth invited to enter Snoqualmie Arbor Day poster contest

 Children in fourth and fifth grades are invited to enter their Arbor Day posters in a contest for Snoqualmie’s observation of National Arbor Day on Saturday, April 9. The theme of the contest is “Trees are Terrific in Snoqualmie.”
For specific information about the poster contest, such as poster size, materials and submission requirements, visit www.cityofsnoqualmie.org, in the Special Events section.
The contest deadline is Tuesday, March 15.
 Snoqualmie’s Arbor Day celebration will be in Railroad Park in downtown Snoqualmie, starting at 10 a.m., followed by a tree-planting event at Three Forks Park, 39912 S.E. Park St., across from Centennial Fields.
