Deadline nears for Fall City suicide intervention training

All King County residents are welcome to attend a two-day workshop on Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. The workshop is Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 7 and 8 at Chief Kanim Middle School, 32627 SE Redmond-Fall City Road in Fall City. Registration deadline is Monday, Jan. 31.
The workshop is an opportunity for people to learn to help others who might be in danger of committing suicide. It runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Attendance at both sessions is required.
The King County Mental Illness and Drug Dependency Plan in partnership with the King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division is sponsoring the event.
