Tolt Middle School students play their way onto Honor Band

Ten students from Tolt Middle School have been accepted to the Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) Junior All State Band this year.

These students will take their talents to Bellevue on February 19 to join more than 375 other outstanding student performers as they play in concert for the WMEA.

• Piper Cramer and Sydney Towns—flute, 7th grade;

• Wesley Trader—clarinet, 7th grade

• Victoria Vergara—trumpet, 7th grade

• Carson Graham—clarinet, 8th grade

• Gunnar Johnson—bass clarinet, 8th grade

• Avery Rich—French horn, 8th grade

• Nathaniel Nemeth—euphonium, 8th grade

• Al Knox—timpani and mallets, 8th grade

• Seth Young—snare drum and mallets, 8th grade
