The holiday season can be stressful for many people. Anxiety, depression, grief, concerns over finances and relationship issues can arise during this season.

The Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation is hosting counseling sessions to help. Adult Day Program Coordinator Kimberly McMartin is proving 50-minute, private sessions this winter.

Counseling helps people view a challenging situation through a broader lens while exploring options in a safe and supportive environment.

Appointments may be scheduled from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. on Fridays. The cost is $40 for members, $50 for non-members.

McMartin has a master's degree in counseling psychology and is credentialed by the state as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate.

To learn more, call the center at (425) 333-4152. Sno-Valley Senior Center is located at 4610 Stephens Ave., Carnation.
