A holiday open house will benefit youth programs and renovations at North Bend's Camp Waskowitz youth retreat.

The Puget Sound Youth Foundation fundraiser event is noon to 3 p.m. at the camp, 45505 SE 150th St., North Bend.

For a suggested donation of $25 per family, visitors can try nature crafts, sing songs around a roaring campfire, sip hot chocolate and take part in other festivities. For a small fee, photos are available with Santa.

Local Christmas tree farms are helping with discount coupons.

All money raised will go to support student participation fees for the outdoor education at the camp, which is run by Highline school district.
