Carnation Mayor Lee Grumman and city officials will dedicate a new flagpole for the city of Carnation, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 across from city hall.

The pole and lighting are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Duvall and American Legion Post 199 of Carnation.

Boy Scout Troop 411 will lead the dedication for this event. The new fixture replaces an old pole which is nearby and has performed stalwart duty for many years.
