Used coat drive helps Encompass

Just in time for chilly fall weather, the Great Outdoor Clothing Company, at the Factory Stores at North Bend, is holding a used coat drive that benefits Encompass, the Valley children’s organization.

From Friday, Oct. 3, through Friday, Oct. 31, the Great Outdoor Clothing branch in the Factory Stores at North Bend will serve as a drop-off site for clean, used coats and jackets. People who bring in outerwear will receive a voucher worth 20 percent off the regular price of a single purchase of a new coat, redeemable through Nov. 14. Donors also will receive an Encompass in-kind donation sheet for their tax records.

Encompass will give the contributed coats and jackets to local residents who need them.
