Snoqualmie resident and Overlake Cancer Center nurse Michelle Green, BN, RN, OCN, recently passed the Oncology Certified Nurse examination administered by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.

Green graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She has been working in the medical-surgical oncology setting for 19 years.

Oncology nursing certification is available to currently licensed and employed nurses with at least 1,000 hours of adult oncology nursing practice within the past three years. They must have completed at least 10 hours of continuing education in oncology nursing.
