Drivers who get their cars licensed at the Sno Falls Licensing office inside Sno Falls Credit Union’s Snoqualmie branch are dealing with a winning team.

At a recent annual awards dinner, Sno Falls Licensing manager Shannon McNiece Smith, accepted a “Subagent of the Year” award by the Washington Association of Vehicle Subagents.

Subagents are private businesses serving the state. There are 146 licensing subagents in the state, and Sno Falls Licensing, active since 1984, is one of the smallest with only two staff members. As manager, Smith has gained distinction as an active member of WAVS with more than 10 years of continued commitment to the association. She spends considerable personal time and effort to advocate for vehicle subagents, according to Jan Novak, WAVS Executive Director.
