Snoqualmie Valley stroller fitness class supports health week

Stroller Strides groups in the Snoqualmie Valley are encouraging women to honor National Women’s Health Week, a celebration beginning on Mother’s Day, May 9.

The nationwide initiative strives to empower women to make their health a top priority. Highlights of the campaign include recommendations for women in fitness, nutrition, healthcare, and avoiding risky behaviors, such as smoking and excess alcohol use.

Stroller Strides is a fitness program for new moms, prividing exercises they can do with their babies. Sessions are held in Snoqualmie, Carnation, Duvall and other Valley cities.
