The NaturoMedica Clinic of Sammamish will present its second “Girlfriends’ Talk,” titled “Women’s Health After 35,” at the Golf Club at Newcastle on Sunday, Jan. 31. NaturoMedica cofounders Naomi Bryant, Tammy McInnis and Jill Monster will discuss health issues for women.

The doctors did a similar presentation in Sammamish last October for a full house. Due the overwhelming response and positive feedback, they decided to host another event.

The doctors believe in the success of collaborative medicine and work often with doctors and other health practitioners. The seminar materials will reflect this integrated approach to healthcare.

The seminar will cover a broad range of health topics relevant to women over age 35. Dr. Monster will give a presentation on women’s hormones and managing the transition through menopause, which will include discussion about bio-identical hormones. Dr. McInnis will be speaking about women’s heart health. Dr. Bryant will talk about stress and the adrenal glands and how this can impact women’s health. She will discuss digestive health and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The doctors will also talk about state-of-the-art testing that goes well beyond traditional blood tests.
