North Bend cable upgrade will require adapters
November 10, 2009 · 3:14 PM
Comcast Cable will complete the final steps in a network enhancement in North Bend, Dec. 8, 9 and 10.
Once work is complete, North Bend customers must have an authentication device, such as a digital cable box, digital adapter, or CableCARD for each television on which they wish to view any channels other than channels broadcast in analog.
Customers whose televisions do not use an authenticating device will only be able to view channels 2-29, 75-78, and 99. In order to view any channels other than those broadcast in analog, an authentication device as noted above is required.
