The King County Department of Development and Environmental Services issued its State Environmental Policy Act approval for development of an Arabian horse farm near Fall City.

The county gave its approval on May 14 for the clearing and grading of about 10 acres of a 29-acre site for Starlight Meadows, a private facility to breed and train Arabian horses, at 1532 Redmond-Fall City Road, about three miles north of Fall City. The applicant is a Renton woman.

The county found that the project does not pose a significant impact to the environment.
