Isadora's Books and Cafe in Snoqualmie is doing more for the younger set, with a new time set aside for telling stories.

Owner Jody Sands will hold Toddler Train Story Time at 9:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month, starting Thursday, April 2.

Parents and their toddlers are invited. Sands is timing the story session for the point between when parents drop their older children off for school and naptime, hoping to make the event a favorite among the preschool set.

Isadora's Cafe, located at 8062 Railroad Ave. S.E., Snoqualmie, recently came under Sands' ownership. Isadora’s is offering an expanded menu and featuring breakfast on the weekends. The cafe also supports the arts by featuring the work of local artists. Handmade ornaments, painting and photography are for sale.
