The Northwest Railway Museum will pay tribute to America's veterans this Memorial Day with a special weekday train run of the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad on Monday, May 30. This is in addition to the railroad's usual weekend train schedule. To commemorate the holiday, the museum will offer free, round-trip train fare on Monday to war veterans and active military personnel who present proper military identification and are accompanied by a paying passenger. The Snoqualmie Valley Railroad travels from North Bend to Snoqualmie with a ride to Snoqualmie Falls.

Trains depart every 75 minutes beginning at 11:01 a.m. from the Snoqualmie Depot at 38625 S.E. King Street and at 11:26 a.m. from the North Bend Depot at 205 McClellan Street. Round-trip fares are $6 for children ages 2-12, $9 for adults and $8 for those age 62 and up.
