Get creative at Miller's in Carnation

Miller's Community and Arts Center in Carnation has planned two programs this month to encourage the arts in the Valley in very different ways. From 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, participants can design their own handbags with the help of popular Carnation artisan Annabelle, who offers offers a complete display of fabrics, colors, styles and notions.

From 7-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, Gary Schwartz of North Bend's Unity Theater will conduct an "Improvisation Through Theater Games" program. It's fun and experimental; no experience necessary. Cost is $50 and preregistration is required by Sept. 16.

For information on these and other programs taking place at Miller's, visit or call (425) 333-5007. Miller's is located at 4597 Tolt Ave.
