Kim Barker, L.M.P., is now offering one-hour massages at the Sno-Valley Senior Center twice a month. The program is open to all adults in the community, whether they are weekend warriors or mothers who carried too many babies and now permanently tilt to the side. Cost is $45 for a one-hour massage on a heated table. Treatment may be covered by individual insurance plans with a doctor's referral.

Regular massage can decrease pain, improve range of motion and enhance joint and muscle function. Barker is a specialist in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, injury treatment and Swedish relaxation.

* For information, call Barker at (425) 753-5850. To reserve a spot, call (425) 333-4152. The program is offered on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month on a first-come, first-served basis. The Sno-Valley Senior Center is located at 4610 Stephens Ave. in Carnation.
