Glass maker to put HQ, plant at Ridge Business Park
October 2, 2008 · Updated 7:07 PM
A Kirkland-based commercial glass company has selected the business park on Snoqualmie Ridge for its new headquarters and manufacturing center.
Technical Glass Products, which makes fire and X-ray resistant glass for industry and construction, is the latest new tenant at the business park, which is being developed south of Snoqualmie Parkway by Opus Northwest.
Opus has begun construction of the new headquarters, roughly 33,000 square feet of office space and a 97,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The building is a build-to-suit project that Technical Glass Products will own.
Technical Glass Products joins Philips Oral Healthcare, Nuprecon, T-Mobile, Zetec and the Inception Group at Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park.
The Ridge provides a great opportunity to bring all the operations of Technical Glass into one place, said Mike Moroney, chief operating officer for the company.
