Bonner recognized for achievement

SPOKANE _ Linda Bonner, assistant vice president and North

Bend branch manager for Sterling Savings Bank, received the 2000

Leadership Award while attending Sterling Savings's annual managers meeting.

Bonner joined Sterling Savings as a branch manager in 1992, having

had more than 12 years of experience in banking prior to that. She is active

in the community and is a past president of the Upper Snoqualmie

Valley Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis.

She presently serves as vice president of a local flood-control group

and is treasurer of the Snoqualmie Hospital board.

She was one of four recipients of the Leadership Award, which

recognizes employees who achieve a high level of performance, are

committed to Sterling Savings's values, provide quality leadership and serve the

community.
