Edward Jones hosts program

Snoqualmie-based Edward Jones representative Elaine Webber is hosting a interactive "Winning Strategies for Women" broadcast at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, in her office at 8150-A Railroad Ave. S.E. The broadcast centers on resources for small-business owners and will feature discussion on attracting and retaining employees, expansion planning and where to network, as well as retirement plans, succession planning and more.

Eddie Bauer outlet opens

Eddie Bauer, a leading specialty retailer that offers active and casual clothing and accessories, opened a new discount outlet store recently at the Factory Stores in North Bend. The new location reflects the new store prototype for Eddie Bauer and has a contemporary design, new lighting, spacious aisles and more merchandise.

The chain is an international company with catalogs and more than 570 retail stores in the U.S., Canada, Germany and Japan. The 80-year-old retailer offers clothing, accessories and home furnishings through its two concepts, Eddie Bauer Sportswear and Eddie Bauer Home.
