The Lost Mitten, a new business catering to the cost-conscious new parent, has opened its doors in North Bend at 209 Main Ave. South, Suite 116, across from the old post office, or currently Mount Si Dental and in the same suite that N.W. Mail and More used to be.

The Lost Mitten is owned by Wendy E. Mosher and Roberta A. Mosher, a new mother and a grandma. Melissa M. Sefton, a niece of Wendy's and also a new mother, helps.

"Child and maternity clothing is expensive and worn for such a short time," said Roberta Mosher. "This is a great opportunity for people to recycle and save at the same time."

Hours for The Lost Mitten are Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call (425) 831-4510.
