All small farmers or those interested in farming techniques are invited to the 2003 Small Farm Expo at the King County Fairgrounds in Enumclaw from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29. Exhibits will include local businesses and venders, such as seed companies, farm equipment, farm supply stores and livestock breeders; education booths from local agencies including conservation districts and the Washington State University-Cooperative Extension; and "how-to" demonstrations on compost, installing rubber mats, sheep-to-shawl fiber and spinning and using dogs for herding.
