Flintoft recognized by peers statewide

Tom Flintoft, owner of Flintoft's Issaquah Funeral Home in Issaquah, has recently been awarded the "Funeral Director of the Year" award. Flintoft was nominated for the award by his peers and fellow members of the Washington State Funeral Directors Association (WSFDA), which includes men and women from within the industry from all over the state of Washington. The award is designed to recognize and honor one exceptional funeral director for his or her outstanding efforts and contributions throughout the year.

Flintoft holds a bachelor's degree from Central Washington University and a bachelor's degree in mortuary science from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. He has been active on numerous committees and task forces within the Washington State Funeral Directors Association and is also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
