SEATTLE - Salmon Bay Expositions awarded the 2003 Seattle Interior Show Designer's Intent Awards last week. The award categories are gold, silver, bronze and crystal. Among the winners was Kay Sorgenfrei of Snoqualmie, who took home a silver award.

The designers each received engraved plates, and the Judges' Choice Award winner received a crystal vase. The awards were given to each designer based upon how well the designer met their statement of intent for the design of their room. Design principles such as scale, color and originality were also taken into account.
