New face at Edward Jones

The Edward Jones financial planning and investment firm in Snoqualmie has a new investment representative, Mark Ghaly. Ghaly, a Bellevue resident, has been working for Edward Jones for one year. He brings 20 years of experience in business finance and world-wide trading to the firm. Ghaly is married with two children.

Salish announces changes

Dan DeFrancia had been named the new director of sales marketing of Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie.

Prior to joining the Salish Lodge and Spa, DeFrancia, an Eastside resident, was employed by Rosario Resort as director of sales and marketing, based in its Bellevue sales office.

Additionally, Salish Lodge and Spa General Manager Sam Johnson is extremely pleased to announce that Victor J. Liss, Jr. has been promoted to director of catering from his current position as restaurant manager and maitre d'hôtel.

Liss, a Snoqualmie resident, has more than 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2003, he served as a Chicago-based catering consultant for corporate and social clients in Chicago's elite North Shore community.
