Seattle's Bastyr University, one of the world's leading academic centers for natural health sciences, will be offering a free External Clinic Shift Program from noon until 4 p.m. every Friday, starting April 9, at the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation.

Hour-long appointments will be available with a naturopathic doctor and advanced students. The licensed practitioner provides direct oversight to three pairs of student clinicians, and thus can offer medical services in three patient treatment rooms simultaneously. The clinic will offer general care, counseling and physical medicine. The program is open to the entire community.

* Call the senior center at (425) 333-4152 for an appointment. Free local transportation is available on the center's Senior Shuttle by calling Jane at (425) 333-5554. Sno-Valley Senior Center is located at 4610 Stephens Ave. in Carnation.
