When it came time to build a new office, John Day, owner of North Bend's John Day Homes, went a different route than most businesses.
Day built a 4,000-square-foot home that would act as the company's newest office and double as a showroom.
It was just another step for Day, who began operations in 1987 as Middlefork Development Corp. and was renamed a decade later to its current moniker.
The houses built by John Day Homes have a traditional style to them in which everything is balanced. The homes retain a timeless quality while updated trends can be seen in the cabinet colors, flooring and other hardware choices.
The company offers 14 floor plans to choose from and each comes with a variety of options.
