Downtown Snoqualmie businesses will host a fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life this coming Monday, July 28.

Purple ribbons placed on storefronts mean that the business within is participating.

“Purple ribbon” business owners will be donating a portion of their sales for the day, or have specials that benefit the Relay. Proceeds go toward research in the fight for a cancer cure and programs that help patients and families that are dealing with cancer. Individual stores can be visited for more details.

Relay For Life is a community-wide season of fund-raising that includes the annual Relay For Life event, an overnight campout, team walk, and celebration.

For more information, contact Wendy Thomas, co-chairwoman of Snoqualmie Valley Relay for Life, at (425) 888-1107 or visit snovalleyrelay.org.
