When new Snoqualmie Market owners Jung and Soon Kwon remodeled their downtown grocery store last winter, one of the major changes they had planned was a completely different direction for the dining area.

Formerly a walled-off space with tables and arcade games for children, the area underwent a complete remodel and found new life as a stand-alone Japanese restaurant, Mori Bistro.

Mori Bistro, located at 8030 Railroad Ave S.E., is next door to the market and offers Japanese dishes including teriyaki, tempura, yakisoba and sushi, plus other favorites including Chinese food, chicken wings and appetizers.

The remodeled and improved interior of the restaurant features a fireplace, wide-screen television, Japanese banners, and other decor.

Daily hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Call for dine-in or take-out orders at (425) 888-2442.
