Facebook marketing, local wines, new hospital: Lots happening at Valley Chamber events
From a local wine cellar, to the new Valley hospital, to Facebook, Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce's February events cover topics both healthful and social.
First up, the new hospital project is the key topic of the monthly luncheon, noon Friday, Feb. 15, at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC. Hospital CEO and chamber member Rodger McCollum is the main speaker, and will talk about the new campus in the works on Snoqualmie Ridge. The event gets started with a social session at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch and Learn
Facebook can either be a valuable marketing tool or simply a waste of time, according to workshop presenters from N J & H New Media Marketing. The workshop will teach strategies on getting better results with Facebook with just a few minutes a day.
By specializing in Internet marketing, email marketing, and social media, presenters can help members be found online, engage with potential customers and convert visitors to customers.
With limited space for the workshop, Chamber representatives suggest that potential students plan on attending and arriving early to the event. Lunch is provided; Cost is $10.
After Hours with wine cellar
Sigillo Cellars hosts this month's Chamber After Hours event, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at their tasting room at 8353 Meadowbrook Way S.E., Snoqualmie.
Sigillo Cellars is Snoqualmie's only winery, offering a wide variety of Bordeaux and Rhone varietal wines. Their assortment is produced from some of Washington's finest vineyards. Sigillo's wine tasting room in Snoqualmie is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 5 p.m. The winery is also available for special events and private tastings.
