Pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating are part of Carnation's planned Halloween events, and even the family dog can get in on the fun Monday, Oct. 31. From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Halloween, children can visit local businesses for treats, and to show off their costumes. Dress up your dog and stop at Carnation Corners for a treat, too.

Also part of the Halloween festivities is a pumpkin-carving contest at the Carnation Market, and Fall Harvest Festival activities at Remlinger Farms.
