Improv essentials are tools for business, too, and business people can develop those skills in an "Improv for Business Professionals" class taught by Gary Schwartz of Valley Center Stage, Wednesday, April 27.

This one-time session is geared toward team leaders and office managers who are looking to become more productive leaders and energize team members.

Through this workshop participants will learn how to successfully connect with employees using improvisational techniques. By playing Spolin Games (improv games) and being coached by a world renowned Spolin coach, Schwartz, participants can unlock their leadership potential in a fun and fascinating way.

The workshop covers how to juice up meetings, develop presence and ability to connect with and inspire others, feel confident about handling change, the art of collaboration, and improve working relationships.

"Improv for Business Professionals" is offered at the Big Picture Redmond, 7411 166th Avenue N.E., Redmond, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. A reception begins before the class at 7 p.m.

Space is limited. Call (425) 556-0566 to reserve a spot.
